7. CONCbUSION This paper has discussed tile role of information in control design and has 43 indicated how consistency between robust control and adaptive control can be achieved. Using this approach, i t has been argued that adaptive control and robust control can be viewed as part of a more general design methodology which we term integrated control. This paper has outlined the philosophical basis of this approach. We have built a practical realization of Cite strategy which has been implemented on a PC with 386 processor.
